BRANDS WE LOVE

Milliman Mushrooms

Rod Milliman and Caleb Antley met and began the exciting yet arduous task of building a mushroom farm in 2023. With a 1000 square foot space located in West Monroe they produce gourmet and medicinal mushroom varieties and are always looking to expand. What started as a hobby for these two friends has grown into a passion to inspire, educate and grow these miracles for as many people as possible. Providing the Twin Cities with sustenance that is in harmony and balance with nature is their mission.

Seventh Square Coffee

Seventh Square Coffee, located in West Monroe, is a specialty coffee shop and roastery aiming for excellence. Whether they are serving up the perfect drink in their shop, or selecting that perfect green coffee bean to achieve their roasting goals, they always want to bring a smile to their customer’s face.

Seventh Square Coffee is owned by Brad and Tish Jowers. Brad is a Captain and Paramedic with the Ouachita Parish Fire Department and Tish is an instructor for Teams of Tomorrow. Service is part of their everyday life no matter the hat they wear. We worked collaboratively to develop a custom coffee blend for Apero that is featured in our espresso martinis, homemade tiramisu, and available for purchase in their retail market.

Big Daddy Farms

What started as a hobby in 2020 has now turned into a thriving produce farm. Lori & Shannon Porter operate year round with both a hydroponic and a traditional greenhouse. They supply restaurants, food banks, and customers, with local fresh produce 365. They also maintain honey hives and fruit trees on their farm. They work hard to provide the freshest produce to our community.

The Spice & Tea Exchange

In 2008, fate brought Amy Freeman and Penny Rehling together, united by their love for family, food, and community. What started as a shared dream has blossomed into The Spice & Tea Exchange, a haven for culinary enthusiasts, and adventurers alike. For over 15 years, our mission has been to connect people with exceptional ingredients, adding a sprinkle of adventure to home cooking.
